Proud to be an American!
We are thrilled to see Amy Retay holding the American Flag in Austria at Global Wellness Summit as they announce their host for 2017, The Breakers Palm Beach, a 5-star, award-winning property with unapologetic luxury, seaside glamour, and world-class service at its best. Having held our FSA “Spa Elegance” Event there this past August, we know firsthand that the Breakers is truly sensational. And having served 2 years on the FSA Advisory Board, we can wholeheartedly attest that Amy is an exceptional leader, colleague, and a genuine friend.
We are delighted that the Global Wellness Summit has selected The Breakers to host their 2017 Summit and honored that it will be held in our home state of Florida. We look forward to having guests from around the world experience the beauty of Florida and enjoy the elegance that the Breakers Hotel has to offer.
A well(ness)-deserved Award!

We congratulate the founder of Global Wellness Day, Belgin Aksoy, for this important recognition and award. Her passion and hard work has made this extraordinary and well-deserved. This award was given at the Global Wellness Summit in Austria. “I’d like to thank Susie Ellis and the Board of Global Wellness Summit for honoring me with this special award and dedicate it to all the hardworking, strong women in the world, especially to the loving memory of my soul-sister Charlene Florian” – Belgin Askoy

West Goes East! – A life-changing trip!
Recently, William experienced the trip of a life time that began in Hong Kong and continued throughout the Far East. He watched the sun set over the Andaman Sea while it was rising over the Atlantic to welcome Saturday to his American friends. He spent a day with elephants in a sanctuary learning about their habitat, population, and care. He lived in a small village hut for a month in Thailand, took Thai cooking classes, learned the ways of the land, and experienced eastern spirituality. His 2-month adventure was filled with life-changing experiences.
“A wise and close friend told me that in my trip to Thailand I would discover new things about myself and possibly this trip could be a life changer. As my time here comes to an end, I learned that in life we need to pack lightly… it is much easier on the shoulders, mind, and soul. Thank you, Thailand, for your humbleness, humility, and thousand smiles. I will always be grateful for your warm hospitality!” – William Arango
