A bit about Nicole Valentino…
Spa Director for NSpa at Delray Beach Marriott
Nicole Valentino has been the Spa Director for NSpa at Delray Beach Marriott in Delray Beach, Florida for the past 4 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University, and is a Professional Make-up Artist with certification from the International Spa Association in Spa Supervisor, Retail Management, and Loss Prevention.
Nicole began her career in Hospitality working for Marriott Corp in New York. She then transitioned to her love of Skin Care & Cosmetics at Nordstrom and later was recruited to be cosmetic department manager at the infamous Saks Fifth Ave, NY, NY. In 1994, she collaborated with mid-town Manhattan spas to hold events for her cosmetic clients. That is when her passion for the spa industry began. In 1997, she began the creation of her dream spa from the ground up…NV Day Spa & Wellness Center. The spa opened in 2001 as a magnificent 22,000 sq.ft., 29-treatment room day spa and complete 10,000 sq.ft. wellness center.
After 12 years as a Spa Owner/Operator and Spa Business Consultant, Nicole returned to New York to be with her family and newborn baby. She accepted the position of General Manager at the Red Door Spa at Westchester in White Plains. Due to the harsh winters and missing her Florida life and family, she finally moved back in 2013 and accepted the position at Nspa.
In addition to Spa Management, Nicole is a member of the Florida Spa Association and recently collaborated on the Opal Spa Collection Wellness incentive for OPL Hotels. Her goal is to continue to have a significant impact on her guests and the Spa & Wellness Industry. “Helping to create healthier and happier lives is my driving force to ensure that I continue to play an intricate role in the Wellness Evolution. I will work tirelessly to increase the benefits to our guests, our environment, and our businesses.”
