House plants are not only an attractive addition to any home but they also moonlight as efficient air purifiers. All you need to add is water! Plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen through the process of photosynthesis. Root-associated microbes convert toxins in the air into nutrients the plants eat and thrive on.
