July kicks off Miami Spa Month …… A power push toward Wellness!
Personally I love July, and not because it’s my birthday month, although I might be a bit biased….. but mostly because Miami welcomes Spa Month starting in July every year, which lasts through August. Spa Month marks the summer as even hotter in Miami and I don’t just signify the temperature. Basically I refer to the many wonderful spa offerings and opportunities that are made available to the public from over 40 participating spas in the Miami and South Florida surrounding areas. Florida, well-known for its lavish spas that rank among the “Best Spas in America” and favored by many spa enthusiasts from all over the world, participate in Spa Month to promote wellness at their spas during the summer months of July and August. Miami, which is known for its luxury, provides exceptional spa packages that offer reasonably priced treatments to its locals and guests by making it possible for many, especially those on a budget, to take time out to indulge in the topmost standard of pampering and relaxation by visiting these spas. WELLNESS which is our credo and the heart and soul of our industry, opens itself up to encourage relaxation and self-care during Spa Month. Offers of great spa specials and wellness experiences, make spa visits at this time of the year very inviting and essential.
Wellness has been a world-wide mission and the FSA has been passionately engaged in supporting and promoting this movement. The Spa industry along with wellness and fitness centers and health facilities are the front-runners; the voice and billboard for well-being. We believe that wellness is more than just being free from poor health and sickness. It’s the spirited progression of change and growth that will last a lifetime. Wellness speaks to the wide range of your body which surrounds the overall balance of your mental, physical and spiritual well-being. It articulates to the way you live your life every day. It is not an end to be accomplished, but rather a lifestyle that you take on and put into practice which leads to an improved lifestyle.
