Yenier Marrero has been working at Naples Grande Beach Resort, the independent luxury beach-side resort located in Naples, as a Fitness and Spa Director since May 2018. In this role, Yenier oversees the wellness program’s daily operations and diligently works towards offering guests top-line services and implementing successful programming inclusive of nutrition, exercise, and bodywork. With over nine years of working in the luxury spa and wellness industry, Yenier brings with him a belief that in order to make lives richer and more enjoyable, one must be given the necessary wellness tools in order to create this state of optimal health. As a highly qualified individual, he is constantly striving to offer guests this opportunity by looking out for the latest industry trends and ensuring that all facilities and their menus are top of the line.
Prior to his work at Naples Grande Beach Resort, Yenier gained his previous experience as a Fitness Manager and Assistant Spa & Fitness Director at the Fisher Island Club in Miami Beach. Additionally, he is a member of the International Spa Association, a Florida-Licensed Massage Therapist courtesy of Miami Dade College, a certified Group Exercise Instructor, and a Certified Personal Trainer from the Athletic and Fitness Association of America. In his native country of Cuba, Yenier received a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Central University of Las Villas and worked as an attorney until his move to the US in 2012.
When not at work, Yenier enjoys spending time with his dog and enjoys running. He also likes to check out local spas and gets spa treatments on a regular basis. He loves going to the beach and his beach-loving mindset is tied to the inevitable, all-around positive vibe that surrounds it.
