The Florida Spa & Wellness Association (FSA) and the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA) have recently collaborated in a strategic alliance to further support our spa leaders and massage therapists within the Florida Spa Community. Together, we will be able to provide first hand vital information for our industry concerning state guidelines and regulations as well as offer exciting education opportunities for our providers.
For over 80 years, the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA) has helped Licensed Massage Therapists gather, learn and grow together. With 19 chapters throughout Florida, members and non-members can obtain continuing education at little or no cost and stay informed of any legislative issues affecting the profession. FSMTA lobbyists and Legislative committee members promote awareness of the benefits of massage therapy and ensure that legislators know the concerns of massage therapists. FSMTA continues steadfast in their mission “To Unify the Massage Therapy Profession While Creating, Representing, and Promoting Standards of Excellence in Health Care”.
