The FSA “VACAY 2” event was the upshot of last year’s successful VACAY event and by popular demand. This first time 2 day FSA event was the celebration that was the triumph of the summer season for our community! Wrapped around a vacation style atmosphere, with wellness amenities to enjoy during their stay, spa guests arrived at the very exclusive and private Ocean Reef Club with families and friends prior to the event and stayed post event, to indulge in a vacation.
Amid this retreat, the FSA created an ambiance for our guests to enjoy 2 days of exciting event filled opportunities to participate in a show-stopping vendor exhibition, network, enjoy spa treatments and experience 2 days of highly valuable inspirational and educational keynote speakers and educational presentations that impressed all that attended. Spa leaders arrived from the Keys and Miami as well as distant areas of Florida. Quality Spa Leaders turned out for this event, connecting with exhibitors and fellow spa friends. Mouth-watering healthy lunches were served each day along with yummy sweet delights. Every portion of the day, supported by the FSA team and the Ocean Reef Club staff reached the high point of excellence. From our premier vendor showcase and captivating exhibitors, to our pampering spa services that shuttled spa guests from the expo floor to the spa, and ending with a fun-filled cocktail reception ……it was cool as the ocean breeze!!
FSA “U” Education at VACAY 2
Day 1 featured keynote speaker, Dre Baldwin, celebrity NBA Pro Basketball player and founder of “Work On Your Game: The Pro Athlete Mindset At Work And In Life”, delivered on conditioning and bulletproofing your mind for success. Our Silver Sponsor, “No Gravity Distributions” introduced Dre Baldwin with edification on the “Wonderful World of CBD”.
Day 2 morning offered up continued education commencing with a General Session presentation by Travelzoo , sharing 2018 spa trends and tips to help drive spa business called “Mind the Gap! Tips for Helping you Fill Appointment Gaps”. Renown Keynote Speaker Dr. Tanya Pergola inspired us with her experience from indigenous Africa and acquired techniques to skillfully tune into our inner wisdom to embrace a healthy and happy workplace, with her “Conscious Leadership” presentation.
Day 2 afternoon paved the way for a second round of education following a delicious hot healthy lunch. TechnoGym opened with their presentation centered on “Trends Shaping a Seamless and Connected Wellness Experience”. Our closing Keynote Speaker was acclaimed Dr. Lyn Pont displaying an entertaining and hands-on presentation on how excellent networking skills can positively impact a personal and professional bottom line in her feature called “The Art of Networking”.
Our first FSA 2 Day Event was a huge success and expression of the passion that we hold for our spa community and our gratitude for our vendors that continue to partner with us .
