Paying it forward in the spirit of the holiday season and under a beautiful evening sky, the Florida Spa Association (FSA) and Pure Spa at Pelican Grand Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale held a very special benefit called “Pure Love”.   This event was organized by Charlotte Prescott, Board Chair for FSA and dedicated to help 2 personal families and beloved spa friends in need of help for their very young children who are undergoing cancer treatments.  FSA members and spa friends were invited to a special night of celebration devoted to raise money, awareness and spend quality time together.   In addition to some holiday cheer at the stunning newly opened Pure Spa, hosted by George Powell Lopez, Spa Director for Pure Spa and sponsored by the FSA, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction to win some extraordinary spa experiences within the state of Florida. The mood was festive as friends bet on a silent auction consisting of many fabulous donations contributed by our very generous Florida Spas and vendors.   Everyone was so overjoyed and proud to announce that we were able to raise over $3,000 during this Pure Love event. These two families in need were so very grateful for this generosity. It was so rewarding to give back!
