Team Up for Toy Drive to Benefit POST
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Spa Association and the Junior League of the Palm Beaches, Inc., are proud to announce they have partnered together to sponsor the Junior League Toy Drive benefitting children at Child Life Institute’s Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) in West Palm Beach. Members of the Florida Spa Association are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the Association’s Spaliday event which will be hosted by SiSpa at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa on Thursday, December 8 from 6 pm – 9 pm.
The toys collected will go towards the POST Holiday Party which facility hosts each year for children who are currently in the POST program or have used the POST program in the past. The not-for-profit Child Life Institute’s Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) provides a comprehensive range of free counseling and support services at the Children’s Hospital to help children and families cope. The POST team strives to make kids as physically and emotionally comfortable as possible, so they can heal faster and get home sooner.
The Florida Spa Association is a group of Florida Spa professionals united by the desire to promote Florida as the finest destination for a Spa experience. The Florida Spa Association provides continuing education, access to new products and services, networking and employment opportunities throughout Florida.
The Junior League of the Palm Beaches is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The League is committed to improving and enriching the lives of deserving children in Palm Beach County. Their goal is to increase the quality of life for these children until there is no longer a need.
